METS, the world's largest trade exhibition of equipment, materials and systems for the international marine leisure industry, is organised by Amsterdam RAI in association with the International Council of Marine Industry Associations (ICOMIA).
The show's target groups are yacht builders, naval architects, repair yards, distributors, dealers, wholesalers, captains, marina operators and equipment manufacturers from around the world.

Success at METS and SYP brings bright note to year end
Amsterdam, 13 December 2010 - METS inc. the SuperYacht Pavilion 2010 was a bright finale to an economically difficult year with a modest rise in attendance over 2009 and a record number of 1,320 exhibitors.
“The show was fresh and lively with a strong sense of optimism,” said METS senior product manager, Irene Dros. “There was a definite mood amongst exhibitors that corners were being turned and that progress was firmly back on the agenda.”
“A modest but nonetheless noticeable rise in attendance – 18,861 visits for 2010 from 94 countries versus 18,454 in 2009 – endorsed the significance international visitors place in attending METS/SYP,” she added. “We see this as an incredibly positive sign that 2011 will be a brighter year for many.”
